Nextplus: Private Phone Number App Reviews

Why? Well lets see. They redirect you to the AppStore in the middle of every text!!!! Literally every couple of seconds they do this. Its become unusable but, whats worse and, the reason Im giving this review is, they somehow figured out how to forcibly install an app that I DID NOT CLICK ON!!!!!!!! Some piece of crap word game app self installed and I only noticed when the AppStore "install" button said "open" instead. I emailed the company because the button to text them ironically doesnt work. I have them my info through the info but, because it wasnt the email address I created the account with, they wouldnt help! Ive sent them emails about the constant issues through the correct email account but, they havent responded. In addition to the AppStore redirects and the absolutely unforgivable self installing app, I started getting inappropriate sex ads to F&@K girls! What kind of company is this?

It says free texting and calling the calling you have to have credits even when your around wifi and credits are not free?

I use this app for texting. Its great - no surprises , just does what its spose to. 5 Stars.

This application is amazing for people who travel abroad. Being able to receive calls on my US phone number, without roaming fees, is great.

I love the free texting and getting your own number!

Dont do it

This app worked well enough when I first got it and has just continued to go down hill. Often, I cant make calls or the person cant hear me. Text messages will appear in my notifications screen but when I go into the app I cant read the messages. This happens so often and its very frustrating. If I didnt already have money put onto the app Id stop using it altogether.

After 10 years with iPhone and trying every text/voip app, nothing beats nextplus.

its great and all but i dont like having to earn minutes and it doesnt pop up their name, just the number. i dont want other people reading someones number

As stated in the title I am a cross platform user and have found that the texting functions on both are very useful and have only gotten better over the 2+ yrs I have used them. It is my goto texting program. I have not used the phone function so I cant speak to it. Keep up the good work and keep up the steady and constant improvements.

The app is great, its free and you dont have to worry about monthly fees unless you call. That being said, messages keep failing to send and the ad situation is aggravating. Update fast developers please... the last update ruined it!!!

I used to love this app but now I find out my messages arent sending to anyone and Im also not getting any messages either, people told me they texted me and I told them I also texted them but nobody got anything? Whats up with that? Its just frustrating now and I dont want people thinking Im ignoring them.

Nothing but ads and pop ups. Even when it touching anything it will redirect you to the App Store for some random app. Garbage. Sometimes cant even reply to a message without getting a couple pop ups. Happens every 15-30 seconds.

App not working. Wont let me send nor receive any messages.
